Problem

Food waste reduction only works if teams can log events consistently, review patterns, and turn audits into action — not spreadsheets that rot after one workshop.

Role

Full-stack product engineering on operational audit surfaces: structured capture, review UI, and workflows built for day-to-day use.

What I built

  • Audit-oriented product UI to log waste events with structured fields.
  • Review flows so teams can spot patterns instead of scrolling raw rows.
  • Dashboard surfaces aimed at reduction opportunities, not vanity charts.
  • Responsive Next.js + TypeScript UI for multi-device ops contexts.

Outcomes

  • A live operational tool (bbp.mamenesia.com) oriented around capture → review → act.
  • Clearer workflows than ad-hoc sheets for recurring audits.

Tradeoffs

  • Optimized for structured ops UX over heavy analytics BI; deeper forecasting can sit on top of clean event data later.
